Quay View by Grandeur Property

Right in the heart of the quay. Can be noisy - it's a working port, great pubs/restaurants. Positive: The apartment is right by the quay and only a minute to bars and restaurants, and was beautifully presented and spotless and contained everything a visitor could require. The view of the quay from the balcony was exactly as advertised. I appreciated the photos supplied for finding the property, they were needed because car access is located down narrow back streets. Negative: Apartment 44 faces the afternoon sun and was difficult to cool for sleeping. It's a working commercial quay and full of visitors in August and therefore noisy from early morning to late at night. Loading of bulk carrier ships for sand and gravel can start at 6am, and on a Tuesday evening, many hundreds of motor bikers meet on the quayside to swap stories. When they depart the noise is very loud.
