Don’t stay here if you cannot cope with very noisy traffic the whole time. Positive: Modern, clean, comfortable Negative: On a busy main road with traffic 24/7. Windows huge but only opened a fraction. No realistic parking available on an area where parking is very challenging . Described as parking due 2 cars on a first come basis. Map of parking provided on request showed 9 spaces allocated to 12 properties including ours, two being disabled bays. It claimed the other spaces were available for all cars. This is not so, 17 spaces were specifically rented to named flats and could not be used/abused. The remaining 16 spaces were available in a first fine basis. There are at least 64 properties using the hopelessly inadequate car park. The fans did not work in the windowless bathrooms. Nor were there any safety bathrooms/shower mats provided, nor any handrail for mobility assistance. We immediately reported these issues but were told safety mats weee not provided. We therefore asked for two additional hand towels to put inside the bath & shower & were told these were not provided. A maintenance man attended the property in our absence to look at the fans. No report back was made, but thereafter the whole flat was filled with an electrical buzzing sound for the rest of our stay. The main bathroom shower was inside the bath and was set overhead (watering can style). It was not safe for us to use. We shared the other shower using a bath mat to stand in. That shower had a set ceiling high shower too, with a half hand held separate shower fitted at waist height. Using it meant holding it the whole time. This is unsafe for older people, especially as there was not hand hold rail fitted. The shower drain was clearly blocked and the shower flooded unless frequently turned off to allow slow drainage. The kitchen was randomly equipped. 4 table spoons but no dessert spoons. Baking trays ( good quality) which could be Co vertex to a saucepan by attaching a heavy clip on handle. However there was only one handle so two pans could not be used at once!

Clean room, good location, nice amenities. Even an air fryer!
